Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for a Research Data Coordinator to support our Cellular Therapy program, located in Norfolk.

Responsibilities
- Keeps current all applicable patient reporting and tracking functions
- Extrapolates data, completes case report forms, and ensures timely data submission in accordance with SOPs
- Actively prepares for and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
- May assist with screening patients for potential study enrollment
- Assists with patient scheduling for procedures required to maintain protocol compliance
- Assists with coordinating patient follow-up visits and timely data submission
- Maintains research records in a confidential manner according to all applicable regulations
- Orders and maintains research supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office experience required: At least 3 years of medical office experience preferred, preferably in oncology
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Minimum of one year experience as a data coordinator strongly preferred
- SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred
