- Design and Develop Prompts: Create and refine prompts that guide AI models to produce desired outputs, ensuring clarity, relevance, and contextual appropriateness.
- Experimentation and Testing: Conduct extensive testing of prompts to evaluate their performance, making data-driven adjustments to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and integrate prompts into various applications.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize prompts to improve model performance, leveraging feedback and new research developments.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt designs, testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
- User-Centric Design: Ensure prompts are user-friendly and align with the needs and expectations of end-users, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and AI to incorporate innovative techniques and best practices into prompt engineering.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in NLP, machine learning, or a related area, with a strong understanding of AI model training and deployment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience in using AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail, ensuring the precision and accuracy of prompts and related outputs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their AI/ML services
- Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and shared goals

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. The Base Salary range for this role is:
$130,900-$180,070 USD
