The Automotive Collision Estimator is responsible for writing body shop damage estimates, negotiating with insurance adjusters, and completing billing and other shop income-related activities.

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, complete and honest damage estimates for customers
- Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly using standard written procedures
- Estimate the cost of repairs and the anticipated time needed to complete repairs
- Monitor repairs as they are made, track costs labor and materials
- Ensure that the work meets quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up
- Coordinate and communicate actions within the dealership and the Collision Center
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of automotive experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and courteously with customers
- Ability to work in a fast pace work environment
- Proficient with multi-line phone system and computer skills
- People focused and committed to providing great customer service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements
- The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM to HEAVY in intensity.
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
- Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
- Frequent - Repetitive motion.
- Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to ~100 lbs.
Physical Working Conditions
- This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operation an auto dealership.
