Job Title:Heavy Duty Assembler

SUMMARY
Assembles aluminum products, such as Locking, Non-Locking, Remote Locking or Hurry-Up masts using a variety of different tools such as drills, grinders,
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand up to 50lbs
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
- Operates hand drills, torque wrenches, socket wrenches, and staplers to assist in assembly operation.
- Properly and safely use warehouse equipment that you are authorized to use to complete tasks. (golf cart, pallet jacks, ladders, dollies, overhead cranes, scissor lift etc...)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Accurately clock and claim jobs using the Factory Track software
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Test or assist in testing operation of complete product.
- Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
