Role: Business Analyst (Re-Insurance/DXC Assure)

Work Location: Warren, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather information and elicit requirements from stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including process flows, use cases, and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate proposed changes and enhancements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts, sharing best practices and promoting professional growth.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment in Re-insurance space.
• Strong expertise in DXC Assure Business Platform, including proficiency in DXC technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are highly desirable.
