Monitors walkie-talkie, door security system and fire panel as needed. Monitors resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log and completes administrative support functions such as filing and making copies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Policies/Procedures/AdministrationTransfers calls or takes messages as appropriate in a courteous, friendly and helpful mannerFills out and logs service request forms for residents and/or staffMonitors and greets visitors to the communityKeeps front desk and lobby area clean and neat at all timesSells meal tickets and accounts for by payroll deduction or personal checkEnsure the security of the building; Monitors resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log; periodically checks entrances/exits of the building to ensure community is secureAttends in-services and staff meetings as requiredCompletes all other duties as assignedRequirementResidentsAssists with coordinating van schedule for residentsFollows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident informationStaffPerforms supportive office functions for all departments including filing, typing, and making copiesRequirements:Must possess a high school diploma or GEDMust be considerate, neat, well groomed and professional in appearance. Must dress in a professional mannerMust have experience in Administration functionsMust answer phones in a polite and professional mannerMust be organized, and able to work well with others as part of a teamMust be polite and considerate to residents, visitors, co-workers and management teamMust be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingMust be able to sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to function effectively in a busy environment and be able to multi-taskMust be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidaysMust attend all required in-services and staff meetings
