Position SummaryThe Concierge provides customer service and reception to residents and families, primarily focused in front lobby area, in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standard. Reports to the Business Office Manager.QualificationsMust have high school diploma or equivalentMust be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Must demonstrate proficiency with office machines (i.e., fax, copier/scanner)Primary Job ResponsibilitiesGreeter DutiesDemonstrates excellent customer service , including telephone etiquette skillsServes as community's first greeter to all guests, visitors, residents and families entering front lobbyCreates and maintains a positive atmosphere of warmth and hospitalityInteracts with all individuals professionally and courteouslyDirects concerns from individuals to appropriate managerScreens visitors entering the communityAssists with keeping front lobby and workrooms neat, clean and presentableClosely observes lobby activity and reports unauthorized visitors or concernsKeeps front lobby entrance flowing and welcomingKeeps bell cart clean and polishes weeklyAdministrative DutiesProvides accurate, reliable clerical support (i.e., typing, filing, photocopies, fax, data entry, etc.)Receives, sorts and distributes mailDelivers packages to appropriate person/department following community policyMakes accurate, timely entries into Events LogMaintains lists (i.e., resident directory, door check sheets, associate phone list, call in sheets)Enters resident maintenance requests in TELs systemMaintains guest room reservations, charges and payments accurately while keeping Housekeeping informedOversees resident check in system (i.e., educates new residents, invites participation, maintains weekly list for security)Sales / Marketing SupportRegularly utilizes Front Desk Inquiry Connection Sheets for incoming inquiry calls for prospective residentsCommunicates with sales team and back up sales team so inquiry calls are handled timelyAssists with Electronic Heath Record (EHR) system as requestedAdditional RequirementsMust enjoy serving seniorsMust demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitalityMust have good telephone etiquetteMust demonstrate trustworthiness and dependabilityMust work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervisionMust demonstrate effective communication skillsMust work efficiently with frequent interruptionsMust be able to multi taskMust be able to meet deadlinesMust be cheerful and positiveMust be responsive to resident requestsDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park's Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance trainingWho We AreAt Century Park Associates, we are dedicated to creating an enriching lifestyle for our residents and a rewarding work environment for our valued associates.
