Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Analyst to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft SCCM and Intune, as well as a strong background in Windows 10/11 imaging and support. The Desktop Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing desktop environments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective technical support and system management.

  • Desktop Support : Provide technical support for Windows 10/11 environments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • SCCM Management: Utilize Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deployment, monitoring, and management of applications, updates, and operating systems.
  • Intune Administration: Manage mobile device and application management using Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance with security policies and providing remote support for users.
  • Imaging and Deployment: Create and maintain standard operating system images for Windows 10/11, ensuring that all images are up to date and compliant with company standards.
  • User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide documentation for end-users to enhance their understanding of new software and tools.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze desktop performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance user experience.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve support tickets related to desktop issues, ensuring timely resolution and user communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate desktop solutions with existing infrastructure and to support ongoing IT projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on Windows 10/11 support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Intune, including deployment and management processes.
  • Experience with Windows imaging tools and processes (e.g., MDT, WDS).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
  • Experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote desktop support tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
