ETC is looking for our next great Electronics Repair Technician. This position is stationed in our international headquarters in Middleton, WI and travel is not required. The ETC office offers a unique work environment with a welcoming and inclusive team.
As an Electronics Bench Repair Tech, you are responsible for the timely and accurate repair of ETC's ever-growing product lines, anywhere from lighting fixtures to lighting controls. Candidates should have an Associate's Degree or a minimum of 4 years of related experience, and ability to troubleshoot and repair from system-level to component-level. Our ideal candidate will also have a sense of curiosity, with the ability to solve problems and document solutions both individually and within a team. With nearly 50 years in the business, our products include classic and the most advanced technology, and we are looking for someone who has a desire to work on both ends of the spectrum.

Some of the tasks that you'll be responsible for include but is not limited to:
-Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment down to a component level, which could include Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
-Experience in using test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
-Work with schematics and electronic theory to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems
-Experience in soldering and desoldering electronic components
-Maintain accurate records of repairs
-Work collaboratively with other technicians and other teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements:
-Associate's degree or 4 years of comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
-All levels of prior job-related experience will be considered
-Problem solving and creative thinking skills, with an attention to detail
-Able to read prints and schematics
-Able to proficiently use a multimeter and oscilloscope
-Computer skills
-Able to work independently and in a team environment
-Able to communicate information both verbally and written in a clear and concise manner
-Experience with problem tracking tools
-Knowledge of production and quality procedures
