Pay: $29-35+/hr D.O.E.

Schedule: M-F 7a - 3:30p

Full-Time, Direct Hire

CNC Machinist Job Description:

PrideStaff is recruiting for a well known machining facility who is in search of an experienced CNC Machinist.  The CNC Machinist will interpret blueprints, operate CNC Machines, troubleshoot issues and use PLC knowledge and Mastercam for production.  The ideal CNC Machinist has multiple years operating a CNC Machine, knows Mastercam, PLC, and has used solid works along with solid length of employment and excellent communication skills.  The CNC Machinist is a full time, direct hire position in Meriden, CT. 

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Program & Operate CNC Machines 

• Read & Interpret Blueprints, & Technical Drawings For Production 

• Demonstrates Excellent Knowledge of Machining Practices & Techniques 

• Use Mastercam & PLC Programming For Production 

• Make Adjustments to Machines as Needed

• Excellent Attention to Detail & Communication Skills 

• Be a Self Starter & Driven For Quality Results 

• Wear All PPE & Follow All Safety Guidelines 

CNC Machinist Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 

• Trade School in Machining Preferred But Not Required 

• 3+ Years of CNC Machinist & Blueprint Reading Experience Required 

• PLC & Mastercam Programming Experience Required 

• Excellent Communication & be a Self Starter 

• Solidworks or Heidenhain Controls is a Plus
