Description
We invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Business and Management at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. The teaching load for this position is 4-4, with the possibility of course releases for leadership responsibilities, depending on program needs and candidate qualifications. We particularly value high-quality educators that have enthusiastically and successfully combined professional work experience with academic scholarship. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who has exceptional organizational and technological skills, who will support Keuka College through active engagement and service. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with undergraduate and graduate students in a student-centered, liberal arts-based environment teaching all levels of business administration classes on-campus via both in-person and online modalities. The candidate's primary teaching responsibilities will be Finance and Economic courses, with periodic teaching assignments for Accounting and other Business Management-related courses as needed. Essential Responsibilities:
- Teaching Finance and Economics, Accounting and related Business Management courses as needed at the undergraduate and graduate levels either in-person or online.
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Demonstrate continuing professional and educational growth by generating and maintaining a research agenda worthy of a positive tenure decision at the institution.
- Serve as an academic advisor to Business and Management majors.
- Support ongoing curriculum review/revisions and updates.
- Contribute to the Division of Business & Management's on-going IACBE accreditation processes.
- Participate in Keuka College functions and community activities, such as Open House, Accepted Students Day, Community Day, Orientation, and Commencement.
- Work with the Division Chair in the recruitment, retention, and graduation of students.
- Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times towards co-workers, internal and external customers, representing Keuka College, its programs, policies, and procedures in a positive and professional manner. Maintain effective working relationships to ensure institution-wide teamwork.
- Attend provided/necessary training and other meetings to support effectiveness within the position as required.
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Keuka College mission, vision, and values and adhering to institutional policies.
- Maintain a high regard for student privacy in accordance with the FERPA privacy policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements:
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
- PhD in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; MS in Finance or MBA with 5 or more years of finance experience will be considered from an accredited institution. DBA with a Finance or Accounting focus will also be considered.

- Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Salary Range: $67,000-$77,000; annual salary to be determined with rank awarded at hire
