**Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembly Technician****Job Description**+ As a 2nd Shift Assembly Technician, you will work on an assembly line where plastic cartridges are snapped together using hands or a small tool.+ These cartridges are then processed through machines that apply foil, laminate, and add labels and barcodes.+ You will conduct visual inspections at three different points along the assembly line, ensuring the steady workflow throughout your shift.**Additional Information:**+ Pay Rate: $21.25/hr.+ Shift B (2nd shift): Monday- Friday: 1:30PM-10:00PM+ Training will take place on the first shift. 6:00am-2:30pm for the first 2 weeks+ Must be Flexible to work 1 hour of Overtime per day.+ Should be Flexible to work the occasional Saturday.**Responsibilities**+ Mechanical assembly of cartridges using hands and simple tools to snap pieces in place.+ Perform visual inspection of products.+ Create labels for the cartridges.+ Operate instruments to laminate and seal products.+ Aseptic gowning (bunny suit) and following SOPs for cleanroom procedures.**Essential Skills**+ Visual inspection of in-process materials.+ Operation of various manufacturing equipment.+ Strict adherence to SOPs.+ Ability to gown aseptically (training provided).+ Documentation of activities.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in high-volume production (assembly, machine operating, or packaging).+ Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.+ Clean room experience is preferred but not required.+ Medical device assembly or packaging experience is a huge plus but not required.+ Experience working in FDA, GDP, and GMP environments is advantageous.+ Familiarity with following SOPs and comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented work.**Why Work Here?**+ Join a stable and growing company that is a pioneer in molecular diagnostics.+ You will work under great supervisors who truly care about their team.**Work Environment**+ You will work in a cleanroom environment, wearing coveralls (bunny suit), booties, gloves, hair net, safety glasses, and face masks.+ Please note that these positions will be on the DISC assembly line, working within 3 feet of others and occasionally interacting with coworkers at a closer distance.**Job Type & Location**+ This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, California.**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
