Description
As a System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the credit union's mission by analyzing business processes, systems, and data to recommend and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with internal IT team members and collaborate across departments, focusing on process improvement, system enhancements, and automation. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead projects from analysis to implementation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Design and implement solutions to enhance internal resource utilization and automation of tasks.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure successful integration, support, and system updates.
- Provide training and documentation for internal teams on systems, processes, and improvements.
- Review and implement system upgrades, including testing, installation, and maintenance.
- Participate on cross-departmental project teams.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Automate batch processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Ensure system documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for future reference.
- Participate in cross-training efforts within the IT department to cover and support other roles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent experience, coursework, or certifications.
- Strong business and system analysis expertise.
- Project management skills with experience in leading technical projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills with experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to self-manage tasks/projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Process improvement skills such as work flowing, journey-mapping, and/or UML.
- Financial services experience
- Programming experience
- Data experience such as Excel, SQL, and/or database management.
- Any additional technical experience
- Proficient in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
Salary Description
$55,500- $65,500
