The position includes the following duties: 1) teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MA) levels, 2) establishing an active program of research involving undergraduate and graduate students, and 3) service to the department, college, university, and profession. The teaching load is 3:3 (three 3-credit courses per fall and spring semesters). Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Industrial Psychology, specifically job analysis, personnel selection, and research methods. The successful candidate for the position will have completed a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university and strong evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will also demonstrate potential for success in pursuing extramural funding and the ability to supervise, mentor and involve students in research. This person will be responsible for (1) teaching undergraduate (e.g.,Industrial Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, Workforce Diversity) and graduate (e.g., Personnel Selection & Appraisal, Research Methods, Experimental and Correlational Statistics) courses as well as supervising graduate capstone experiences (internships).
