You will get the opportunity to work on the latest Apple iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, etc. You will be responsible for bringing up new hardware to measure, analyze, and tune cellular radio power in close collaboration with other experts in the company to improve end user battery life!
Description
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams in the company to measure and analyze wireless radio power for future Apple products. To be successful in this role, you must have attention to detail and a passion for optimizing power. This role will require a good understanding of one wireless system architecture, such as Cellular or WiFi. It also requires knowledge of using modern cellular/WiFi test equipment and automation to exercise end user network conditions in the lab to evaluate power for end-to-end system use cases.
Minimum Qualifications
Hands-on experience in developing and validating test cases for mobile devices or wireless technologies using popular test development platforms.
Familiarity with at least one of the modern wireless standards including LTE, 5G NR, or WiFi 802.11.
Familiarity with automation and scripting language/library such as Python3, Pandas, or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years hands-on experience in wireless system testing with a focus on power.
Hands-on experience with high-speed time series power measurement on early stage hardware.
