Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community is a welcoming and supportive community dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated IT Site Technician to join our team and ensure that our technological infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently.
The IT Site Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our technological systems to ensure our residents and staff have reliable access to technology. This position is responsible for on-site technical support, with a focus on user-friendly solutions for our senior residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, respond, and resolve tier 1 and 2 Service Desk incidents and requests: escalating as necessary.
- Perform regular upgrades /patches per guidance to ensure systems remain updated.
- Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
- Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers, peripherals, other end user devices, and desktop applications correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory. Prepare and update documentation as needed.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field is required.
- Driver's license required with verified three (3) year safe driving record.
- CompTIA, Microsoft or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Preference given to candidates with the following certifications: Sec+, Net+, A+, Cloud+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
- Minimum 12+ months experience in an information technology role required.
- General experience handling network and server hardware preferred.
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and upgrades.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to basic security principles and to applicable laws and regulations as they relate to technology issues.
- Experience working in the Senior Living industry or Health care and IT Service desk is a plus.
