About Splash
Our mission is to bring the joy of music making to everyone, and we’ve been pioneering the intersection of artificial intelligence and music since 2017. We've made significant strides in connecting artists and fans, particularly through our engaging experiences on Roblox, which have captivated millions of young users. By leveraging the power of AI, we're reshaping the way people interact with and create music.
With the support of renowned investors including Amazon's Alexa Fund and Khosla Ventures, Splash is poised for rapid growth. We're actively expanding our diverse team of talented musicians, engineers, and creatives who share our passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in music and AI.
The Role:
We are hiring a Digital Project Manager to manage our marketing and creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet both internal goals and external partner expectations. You will work closely with the VP Marketing and General Manager, collaborating with designers, developers, and external stakeholders, including music labels, DSPs, artist management teams, agencies, and brands.
Your role will involve managing projects end-to-end, from concept to execution, while also focusing on marketing plans and outcomes for activations and campaigns. You’ll ensure that timelines are clear and achievable, coordinate with external parties and digital agencies for campaign creation and implementation, and track the performance of marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on metrics.
This role will be an initial 3 month contract with opportunity to extend. Please note, our team is global, remote-first; you will be working with colleagues on an Australian timezone (potentially not a good fit for people who prefer early morning work or anyone based on the East Coast).
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the VP Marketing and General Manager to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for marketing and creative projects.
Manage project timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that milestones are met.
Work closely with designers and developers to ensure that creative projects are executed effectively and meet the desired outcomes.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including music labels, DSPs, artist management teams, and brands, to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee the development and implementation of performance marketing campaigns across systems like ad tools (Google, Meta, TikTok).
Oversee the development and implementation of social media strategies (content management, social listening, analytics).
Manage creation and maintenance of marketing materials and brand guidelines.
Track and measure the performance of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external partners, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all are delivered on time and within scope.
About You:
You have a strong background in agency, marketing, and managing creative projects, particularly in the gaming, brand activation, or music/entertainment industries.
Experience in managing projects with external stakeholders, including brands (music labels, DSPs, artist management teams highly desirable).
Proven ability to manage digital projects from concept to execution, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met.
Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
Skilled across marketing tools suites that include advertising, social media, and analytics.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities.
Experience in a startup environment is a plus, with a passion for solving complex problems and driving innovative solutions.
High level of accountability, persistence, and the ability to work independently and remotely.
Nice to Have:
A passion for music and an understanding of the music industry.
Experience or interest in gaming, as our team is a mix of music lovers, creatives, and gamers.
What to Expect:
Our team is remote-first; you will be working with colleagues on Australian timezone and some degree of overlap with this team is expected.
We may be small, but we're backed by leading investors including Amazon’s Alexa Fund, Khosla Ventures, BITKRAFT Ventures, and King River Capital.
Be part of a talented and highly dynamic team that values initiative and imagination - we also love music.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
Music has the incredible ability to bridge divides and bring people together, regardless of their background or identity. Like the industry we work within, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. We actively seek out and welcome voices from all backgrounds and believe that diverse perspectives fuel our creativity and drive success.
