Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.
Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- May be required to manage multiple teams including but not limited to Application Development and Infrastructure support
- Manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization's application solutions utilize.
- Partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify enhancements for platforms
- IT role with accountability for developing a solution (e.g., application, technology, process, estimates, resources, requirements) and ensuring a successful transition to support teams
- Ensures development of estimates and aligns estimates with IT teams to obtain commitment
- Accountable for all phases of the Solution Delivery Process (SDP)
- Owner of Steering committee and gate meetings for the IT projects
- Ensuring all IT components are completed on time and on budget for the entire solution
- Lead IT communications with clients and IT partners. If an issue arises this role is the champion to resolve or clear roadblocks
- Act as a single point of primary contact for client, customer, and IT executives
- Accountability for successful execution, implementation, warranty support, and support transition of IT deliverables
- Collaborate with Product Owner(s) and Development Team(s) to influence them on decisions making that have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple SLDC and techniques including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban

Anticipated salary range:$119,800-$171,100
