Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking an Inspector in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the Metal Manufacturing Industry.
Quality Inspector Job Summary
Pay: $18.00+ per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:30pm
Responsibility and ownership of all customer quality requirements to ensure a complete understanding of their quality needs and issues, and ensure their expectations are met consistently.
Precision mechanical inspection on first articles, first pieces, in process and final inspection.
Ensure all suppliers meet the necessary quality assurance and certification requirements as defined by company purchase orders.
Assist with internal and external quality audits as required
Work closely with the management team in resolving production quality issues and ensure quality procedures are accurate and updated as appropriate
Support manufacturing initiatives as required
Reports nonconforming materials and products
Support customer relations activities as related to quality and reliability aimed at achieving total customer confidence and satisfaction
Quality Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
IPC-610 certification preferred
3-5 years of industry experience
1+ year in Quality Experience Required
