TITLE: Adjunct Instructor of Agriculture, Technology, & Natural Resources

Position Description & Details

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses within the agriculture pathways. Teaching duties would take place in-person Monday through Friday. Additional duties include submitting grades on established deadlines, and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean and the Dean of Current and Emerging Technologies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • High level attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good computer software skills (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, Teams, etc., Outlook E-mail and Calendar) and strong internet familiarity.
  • Ability to articulate and support the college's mission with a strong commitment to polytechnic teaching and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in post-secondary teaching.
  • Experience with distance/online education, academic assessment, dual credit/early entry, and prior learning.
  • Industry experience.
  • Appropriate doctoral degree.
