You Are:

The Cloud/Infra Engineering Lead will develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for our AWS cloud environment, leveraging best practices and industry standards. Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on security-related matters, promoting a culture of security awareness and compliance.

The Opportunity:

Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for our AWS cloud environment, leveraging best practices and industry standards.

Utilize tools such as Prisma Cloud, Splunk, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail to monitor and analyze security events and incidents, proactively identifying and addressing security threats.

Configure and manage AWS security services such as AWS SNS, WAF, Shield, and Security Hub to enhance the security posture of our cloud infrastructure.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

Lead incident response activities, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to investigate and mitigate security incidents in a timely manner.

Stay current with the latest threats and vulnerabilities in cloud environments, continuously updating security measures and practices to mitigate emerging risks.

Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on security-related matters, promoting a culture of security awareness and compliance.

Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security, providing recommendations and guidance to senior management and executive leadership.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Extensive experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.

Strong understanding of AWS security services and features, including IAM, VPC, S3 encryption, and KMS.

Hands-on experience with security tools such as Prisma Cloud, Splunk, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS SNS, WAF, Shield, Security Hub, Dome9, Contrast Scan, and AWS Macie.

Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, and GDPR.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.

Compensation Range: $62,000-$92,000

Benefits:

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
