Job Description: This position will be responsible for the purification of antibodies at the Everett facility.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Routine buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department.
Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal igGs and other antibodies
Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Batch Records (BR) as needed.
Assist in filing, labeling and finished product good inspection.
Operate basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in relation to Protein Purification
Cleaning of all laboratory areas on a regular basis
Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed
Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
Requirements:
Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations,
Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of the metric system.
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma, Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a scientific field with a high school diploma
