Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is a multi-campus institution with vibrant, urban campuses in Boston, Massachusetts, in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts, and at several satellites and instructional sites throughout the Greater Boston area. The largest of the 15 community colleges in Massachusetts, BHCC serves some 18,000 students annually, focusing on holistic student services to ensure student retention and persistence. The College offers certificates and associate degrees, early college and dual enrollment, non-credit community and corporate training, and industry-specific training programs. Job Description:
Adjunct Instructors Needed for Fall 2024:
Subject area: Biology
The Biology and Chemistry department offers biology courses that support majors in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Technician, and Allied Health. These courses/programs prepare students for careers in laboratory science and prepare students for further study at four-year institutions in various Science-related fields.
Courses offered in biology include:
BIO 105 Introduction to Biology
BIO 108 Human Biology/Lab
BIO 203 Anatomy/Physiology I/Lab
BIO 204 Anatomy/Physiology II/Lab
BIO 205 Microbiology/Lab

Requirements:
Master's Degree or higher in biology or a closely related field.
Experience teaching biology at the college level; community college teaching preferred.
Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations.
Online or remote teaching experience preferred.
Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour
