Currently, we are seeking candidates for the following position:Position: Test and Balance Technician - Level ISummary: As a Level I Test and Balance Technician, you will collaborate with a team to complete test and balancing projects successfully. Under the guidance of a certified TAB technician, project manager, or lead technician, you will contribute to the essential duties and responsibilities of the role.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Adhere to all internal and external safety policiesMaintain a professional appearanceAssist in performing test, adjustment, and balancing work on projectsSupport lead technician in documenting test and balance reportsAssist in preparing preliminary and final field balancing logsContribute to written reports on system installation function and design deficienciesComplete additional tasks as assignedManage time sheets and expense reportsExpand knowledge through self-study and company training programsEmbrace the Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Core Values of Palmetto Air and Water BalanceRequirementsEducation and Experience Required:High School diploma or higherQualification Requirements:Self-motivated and drivenPossess reliable transportationArrive punctually and ready to workComfortable working independently or in a team environmentMust have a valid license and maintain a clean driving recordStrong mathematical aptitude for standard algebraic equationsProficient in computer skills, including hardware and softwareComply with OSHA job site safety requirementsSuccessfully pass a pre-hire drug screeningPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands and working conditions described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The role may involve:Frequent lifting or carrying of 20 to 50 poundsExtended periods of driving or riding in a vehicle, depending on the positionExposure to varying temperatures, including very hot or cold conditions, and all weather conditionsExposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levelsFrequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controlsSitting, talking, hearing, and standing throughout the dayClimbing, reaching above shoulder height, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling frequentlyOccasional lifting of heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditionsWorking ten-hour shifts, and possibly twelve-hour days based on job/business needs
