As a Product Specialist with our team in the Pittsburgh area, you'll be responsible for managing and accounting for client product, literature, and giveaway fulfillment as it relates to their trade show and experiential efforts. This includes maintaining quality and accuracy to ensure a client is fully prepared for their upcoming showcases. Product Specialist Responsibilities
- Maintain physical storage for client materials (product, literature and giveaways)
- Check in inventory upon arrival confirming quantity, color, size, tag, SKU / product number
- Fill show orders per provided spread sheets and SODs to the above criteria and segregated into boxes designated for specific displays
- Receive product post show, verify condition / packed correctly, re-stock into main inventory, update storage location
- Maintain active databases, keeping inventories & inventory sheets current and in tandem with the product movement
- Monitor, label and maintain product storage locations
- Communicate inventory levels and movement with account teams and or clients
- At peak times oversee the quality and productivity of temp workers in filling and receiving product orders in coordination with the supervisor.
- Safely operate a forklift when opportunity arises
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail skills as it relates to day-to-day functions
- Utilize technical skills within Microsoft Office and similar platforms
- Work independently and complete assigned projects within budgeted hours, with minimal direction
- Display professionalism and apply customer service knowledge when interacting with various teams and clients
Requirements
Product Specialist Requirements & Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED required.
- 1+ years of previous customer service experience required.
- Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment required.
- Previous trade show or event industry experience preferred.
- Ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven operation.
