Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development:
- Engage in the design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronics systems, including hardware, power engineering, power electronic engineering, electromagnetic engineering, integrated circuit engineering, and components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems, making necessary modifications.
- Compile, evaluate, and analyze design and test data to recommend effective design approaches.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead a team of engineers on technical activities, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of projects.
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support the testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software as required.
- Review customer specifications and requirements, developing designs that meet these needs while considering cost as a key factor.
- Provide budget, cost, and schedule inputs for design assignments.
- Component & Supplier Management:
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services.
- Drive program design to meet cost and design-for-manufacture requirements.
- Develop prototypes to address key development risks.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other company personnel and customers as needed.
- Participate in proposal preparation and provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support staff.
- Organizational Support:
- Support, communicate, and reinforce the organizations mission, values, and culture.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving issues related to circuit card assemblies (CCAs) to ensure optimal functionality and reliability of electronic systems.
- Strong familiarity with relevant technologies and application domains.
- Ability to independently lead a technical group and manage project tasks effectively.
- U.S. citizenship required; must meet clients security standards imposed by the Department of Defense (DoD), including obtaining any necessary security clearances from the U.S. government within a reasonable time after employment begins.
