ROLE SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for technical and functional analysis, consulting and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements - delivering the essence into an abstract and algorithmic business model. Assignments typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements, project management, and implementation of systems to meet business and user requirements.
This role will require candidate to come into the office. The project is fast paced and will require someone who can onboard quickly and contribute immediately. All candidate must be able to perform the duties outlined.
THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A IT BUSINESS/SYSTEM ANALYST:
- Ability to perform functional lead activities during implementation
- During go live will assist the technical staff by testing the behavior of the system
- After go live will guarantee that the procedures remain usable and consistent in real live situation and proposes enhancements
- Gain understanding of process flow charts for projects and processes impacted by the projects
- Gain expertise and thorough understanding of 3rd party tools, integrations, and all processes
- Learn the current Source to Pay processes to understand any gaps or requirements that may not have been identified in the project scope
- Become an SME in Source to Pay processes for the project, post-go-live support, and future changes required
- Provide business process documentation and technical design requirements for the developers to follow
- Work with WPL, IT, and 3rd party analysts to create test plan and test cases for all aspects of the new processes
- Contribute to test case creation
- Execute testing and document and report any issue identified
- Work closely with change management lead on training and communications material for business, IT orgs, and supplier stakeholders impacted
- Ensure system admin requirements and processes are received from the supplier and updated to meet customer needs
- Apply SQL skills to meet reporting requirements
- Learn new 3rd party tools and apply SAP knowledge for the interfacing systems
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- 7+ years experience
- A minimum of 3 system implementations and experience in multiple applications on recent version releases and upgrades
- Comprehensive knowledge of business processes for Source to Pay, Procure to Pay, Procurement, or cloud solutions such as Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba, etc.
- Strong knowledge about SAP ECC procurement process or source to pay
- Strong teaming, process and change management skills required
- Expert knowledge in one or more applications is required (Example: SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.)
- SQL skills needed
