Description
Job Functions:
- Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools
- Cleans interior surfaces of holes using reamer or burr whip
- Lift and position metal parts on bench
- Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools
- Verify dimensions and radii, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers
- Ensure organized and clean work area
- Perform other duties as assigned and necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC
Position Requirements
Skills Required:
- Excellent attendance record
- Experience a plus but not necessary
- Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use necessary hand tools to properly perform job
- Must be able to burr parts in a safe and efficient manner
- Exercise good housekeeping practices
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions involving wrist/arms/hands
Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a parts finisher, preferred
