Cloudera is looking for a software engineer with strong enterprise Javascript development expertise to join Cloudera's NiFi engineering team.

As a software engineer, you will be working in a US based development team led by an Engineering Manager and together with its Budapest based peer team you will develop, distribute and support the Front End of Cloudera’s Data Flow Experience. You will help us move our products to the next level, to be more supportable, enterprise ready and feature-rich so that more and more enterprises could start using them. This is not only an opportunity to improve your Front End development skills, but to learn about Big Data Data Flow technologies, in particular NiFi. Although it is not directly part of the job, you may have the opportunity to get involved in Open Source development as part of the Apache projects we contribute to.
As a Senior UI Engineer you will be:
Drive architecture, design, and implementation of key aspects of the front end user experience for the Apache NiFi, MiNiFi, Registry, and FDS projects and their usage by other ecosystem projects.
Collaborate with and contribute to the Apache NiFi, Apache NiFi-MiNiFi, Apache NiFi Registry, and Apache NiFi Flow Design System communities.
Work with product management, engineering, UX, documentation, and quality assurance teams to deliver high quality products.
Interact with partners and customers to help define roadmap and shape the technology.
Empower team members to deliver high-quality software at a fast pace.
We are excited about you if you have:
BS or MS in Computer Science.
Proven track record of performance.
Strong computer science fundamentals. Passionate about programming.
Tooling experience: SystemJS, npm, maven, git, Grunt, Karma, Jasmine.
Framework/Library experience: Angular, D3, jQuery, rxjs.
Experience with the following: API design, RESTful architectures, HTTP, ES5, HTML, CSS/SASS, optimized/minified/compressed javascript, and test driven development.
Understanding of client side security concerns.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
