Develop and test design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility. Perform data and process model design of proposed technical solutions. Install, configure, and maintain various middleware J2EE engines and WebLogic on Linux servers to test external and internal web hosting environments. Use shell scripting and create cron jobs to monitor the system environment. Configure clustering EJB objects, JDBC connections, JMS connection factories, and JMS queues. Perform load balancing, performance tuning, and optimization for application servers. Conduct software development activities that may require extensive analysis in areas including 3D geometry modeling and 3D visualization. Utilize WebLogic, PyCharm, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP, shell script, Jenkins, Linux, Venafi, SSL, GIT, and SourceTree.
Requirement:
Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 6 months of experience as a Software Engineer, Analyst, or IT Consultant. Related experience must include using J2EE, WebLogic, and PyCharm. A Bachelor's degree is acceptable with 5 years of experience as a Master's degree.
Location: Primary worksite is Frisco, TX, but relocation is possible.
