Capgemini is seeking a Senior Developer with a passion for software craftsmanship and Agile development.
Responsibilities:
5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based software applications
Collaborate with product managers and peers on various projects for digital products
Responsible for future enhancements and technical solutions
Design complex, secure, and optimized web-based applications using: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, DevOps
Equipped with modern CI/CD developer toolkit: STS, IntelliJ, GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, JWT, OAuth, etc.
Work closely within a multi-functional Agile delivery team
Break down product vision into technical solutions
Build high-quality software for large-scale, highly available systems
Provide strong technical and team leadership
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members
Promote a risk-aware culture and efficient risk and compliance management practices.
Required Skills:
Prior experience in practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) is mandatory
Ability to drive TDD and design various types of tests (Unit, Integration, Functional, Non-Functional)
Strong fundamentals in Java API-first design
Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including Microservices
Experience with Spring, Kafka, Containerization, DevOps, and CI/CD
Database experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
