Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Bridge Engineer to join TYLin's Bridge Sector. This individual will be structurally analyzing and designing various types of complex bridge structures in and outside of the United States while helping mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities & Qualifications Performing engineering design, analysis and calculations at the Lead Bridge Engineer level.
Supervises and mentors junior and mid-level Engineers.
Conduct all technical analyses, documentation and client relationships following TYLin's quality assurance and quality control processes.
Actively pursue opportunity for partnerships with other disciplines and also other planning and engineering firms in bidding for new contracts.
Prepare contract budget, schedule and scope of work.
Ensure successful completion of projects under his/her direction.
Ensure proper codes and standards are being used on projects.
Participate in company strategic planning efforts.
As a seller-doer, participates in BD activities for pursuit of bridge work opportunities.
Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) with emphasis in structural design. Professional Engineering license is required.
12+ years of professional design and Project Management experience required and experience as a Bridge Task Lead on larger projects.
Experience in proposal writing.
Must be proficient in major bridge analysis and design software packages such as CsiBridge.
Must be proficient in using AASHTO with Caltrans Amendments, SDC, and AREMA.

Additional Information TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $143,900.00-$215,900.00 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
