Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer, drawing, and specification requirements. This role focuses on driving quality improvements both within the company and across the customer and supplier base. Leveraging their experience and expertise in manufacturing, the Quality Engineer will identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and develop and implement strategies to meet both operational and customer demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality control processes to ensure production excellence.
  • Evaluate and analyze production workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform quality assurance tests and inspections, addressing any issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Supervise quality assurance (QA) activities across all stages of production.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to optimize quality practices.
  • Lead and manage quality improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality management plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality engineering or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in quality control techniques and methodologies.
  • Skilled in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and utilizing relevant measurement devices, including SPC.
  • Experience in automotive quality standards such as TS 16949/IATF is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with metrology and CMM is a plus.
