Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for their Alachua, FL facility. You will oversee and perform the preventative and reactive maintenance for the plant manufacturing operation. Let's get to work.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair and maintain up to 480v 3 phase electrical systems
- Direct and perform, preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance
- Install conduit and pulling wire
- Text equipment and determine if components need to be upgraded or replaced
- Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Provide maintenance for building and grounds
- Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
- Electrical certification a plus
- Knowledge, experience and/or understanding of the following: hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, 3 phase motors and control circuits, water chilling systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting, welding skills and low voltage control circuits are highly preferred

1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with maintenance/electrical in a manufacturing environment
- Industrial, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, plumbing and pneumatic skills
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to interpret and read both electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and ladder diagrams
