The Data Warehouse Developer plans, designs, builds, tests and deploys data warehouse and data mart solutions to support the clinical, and administrative activities at Temple University Health System. Leading small to medium size projects, or as part of a larger team, will work directly with customers and solve their problems through the documentation, design and creation of ETL jobs, data marts, end-user reports, dashboards, analytics and visualizations. Works to increase the usage and value of the data warehouse and ensures the integrity of the data delivered. Provides operational support. Develops and implements standards, and promotes their use throughout the warehouse.
Education
Bachelors Degree : in Computer Science or related field. (Required)
Masters Degree : in Computer Science or related technical field (Preferred)
Experience
2 Years experience in database and information systems technology (Required)
1 Years experience in data warehousing, data marts, data management or related field (Required)
General Experience using SQL in Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 or other relational database (Required)
General Experience and knowledge of Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, DataStage or other major ETL Toolset (Preferred)
General Experience in developing with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Power BI or other major end-user data access toolset (Preferred)
General Experience with Epic's Cogito toolset (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, Report Workbench, SlicerDicer) (Preferred)
General knowledge of all aspects of the system development life-cycle (Preferred)
General Experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
