Overview:

Mint Dentistry is looking for an experienced support technician with some system administration experience to join our growing IT team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with many challenging and exciting IT projects on the roadmap.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Windows and Microsoft technology and system administration experience with proven results - preferably in a fast-paced enterprise environment. We are looking for a proactive, forward thinking, positive attitude in any situation and effective communicator; Has the ability to manage difficult technology situations in a professional and timely manner, and the ability to collaborate closely with others within the IT team.

Position is based in DFW and will require, occasionally, going onsite to any of our locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers, end users and operating staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, chats, and remote helpdesk tickets for IT Services from MINT users.
  • Receive, prioritize, document and actively resolve initial end user requests for assistance in person, by telephone, chat, walk-ins or via e-mail.
  • On-boarding of equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Monitor ticketing queue for tickets and process first-in first-out based on priority.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and adhere to strict communication and resolution timetables.
  • Manage disposal/retirement of obsolete assets per site disposal policy.
  • Maintain Windows Security and OS patching.
  • Interaction with multiple levels of end users, managers, VIPs and local technical staff is required.
  • Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport and communications with all users, co-workers, service contractors, and others as appropriate.
  • Assist System Administrator with basic server and Group Policy management.
  • Assist System Administrator with troubleshooting & issue resolution.
  • Assist as needed with installation and maintenance of physical IT and security infrastructure, including cabling, cable testing, etc.
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications.
  • Manage our corporate Active Directory and other shared corporate services.
  • Accountable for all server implementation and management; Meeting high standards for uptime and reliability, while keeping redundancy and resiliency in mind.
