Territory: Los Angeles
Location: This is a remote, field-based position. It's required that the candidate will eventually reside inside the service region (Los Angeles County, Orange County, or Ventura County)
Travel Requirements: Up to 40% of overnight travel anticipated
The Opportunity: The Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Lead Field Applications Specialist, you will:
Serve as a Roche liaison and technical expert, handling consultative, administrative, and technical matters with customers.

Utilize scientific expertise to analyze and resolve complex customer questions and issues regarding Roche solutions, including escalation of the most complex cases when necessary.

Coach and mentor as a senior leader on the team, assigning work activities and implementing formal mentoring programs.

Provide pre- and post-sales scientific/technical support during installation, implementation, and maintenance of company solutions.

Assist customers with workflow and operational issues related to instrumentation or automation, managing and implementing solutions as needed.

Monitor equipment, products, and system performance, devising and implementing solutions to address any trends impacting performance.

Conduct tailored customer training for all Roche solutions, including on-site seminars and field training for staff. Support commercial activities and identifies opportunities for new system consumables.

Who You Are: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

3 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of lab experience with a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory.

Strong troubleshooting skills, independently identifying and resolving problems, and escalating unresolved issues when necessary.

Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, with experience in project management. Ability to coach and mentor junior staff and work independently as a field-based contributor.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $100,100 - $185,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
