Description:
•Contribute to team highly engaged in all aspects of battery material research.
•Participate in the complete process of battery material synthesis, characterization, processing material into coin cells, and then testing for electrochemical performance.
•Synthesize battery materials using crystallization reactors in Batch mode, CSTR mode, and Taylor Flow conditions.
•Develop skills in battery material characterization, including optical microscopy, ICP, Particle Size Analysis, Surface Area analysis.
•Create coin cells using in-house battery material.
•Develop skills using sintering ovens, glove boxes, mixers, film coaters, and calendaring machines.
•Supervise two lab technologists in these activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree required in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
•The candidate should already be familiar with a chemistry lab environment, including safety.

This is a fully on-site position in Dearborn, Michigan.
