-Existing ETL process may need some analysis (pulling certain info to certain times into the data warehouse) - understanding of what goes into an ETL package
-Meaning of calculated fields
-Casino experience not needed - data coming in is from other domains (finance, food & beverage, procurement + 2 other smaller lines of business)
-EDW - enterprise data warehouse or any kind of data migration projects in the past
-Understanding how to query data from database; might not always be handed a data dictionary, figuring out how the tables fit together
-Primarily in SQL Server right now, hotel/finance are in DB2, some info in MySQL
-Need someone who will take initiative- someone who will be able to push back on the business- will need to really drive perspectives especially since this migration involves brand new stuff
Required Skills : Business Analysis - gathering requirements, user stories Agile/Scrum - SQL - database querying, stored procedures, data mapping/profiling - involvement in cloud data migration projects (Snowflake highly preferred)
Basic Qualification : 7+ years of technical business analyst experience SQL - experience querying databases and with stored procedures * Experience with projects involving cloud data migrations (Snowflake migration preferred ) Azure DevOps (understanding of Azure Boards) - they may consider strong candidates with Jira instead but Azure DevOps is highly preferred! Data Mapping/Profiling Strong experience with scrum processes PowerPoint, presenting reports, diagrams, design Must be able to obtain gaming license
