Zero dB Communications is a thriving company that specializes in splicing/testing, placing and engineering fiber optic cable plant. We are looking for a Telecom Engineering Project Manager that is experienced in the telecom field to join our fast-paced team. This is a lead position managing multiple engineers and a CAD team.

Schedule:

  • Required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Monday - Friday.
  • Minimal travel throughout the Eastern WA and Northern ID region.

Requirements

  • Schedule and assign day-to-day tasks for all team members.
  • Create plans, resolve problems, estimate costs by creating internal and external reports.
  • Build the market through sound business decisions by communicating daily with other management staff.
  • Work with multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Develops/defines plans for the implementation of new Fiber plant construction or modifications to existing facilities.
  • Perform analysis to determine the most cost effective and efficient manner of the placement of fiber optic facilities.
  • Familiar with NEC and NESC electrical and Telecom code requirements.
  • Experience in both Aerial and Underground Telecom placement methods.
  • OSP fiber design and construction planning.
  • Familiar with PON Architecture.
  • Experience in GPS field data collection.
  • Ability to use hand-held GPS unit.
  • Ability to work independently with solid problem solving and communication skills.
  • Solid experience with researching, collecting and analyzing data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willing to work outside collecting field data.

Education/Experience requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Telecom field in a technician or construction role.
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience in Telecommunications or a related industry.
  • Familiar with CAD and ESRI programs.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications and Visio.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company's minimum safety standard.



Salary: Starting at $90.000 annually based on experience

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
