JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Administrative Services (VPAS) at Trinity is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all administrative services groups, including Credit and Collections, Claims, Carrier Compliance, Customer Service, and Billing. The VPAS ensures the seamless and efficient operation of these services, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with the CFO, the VPAS develops and implements comprehensive corporate and operational strategies, driving these initiatives across the administrative services group. This role demands exceptional leadership, management, and visionary capabilities to establish robust operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems. The objective is to deliver outstanding customer service to the company's profit centers, customers, and carriers, thereby reinforcing financial strength and operational excellence. The VPAS must be adept at leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the administrative services group. Success in this position requires a deep commitment to lifelong learning, a strategic and innovative mindset, and the ability to devise creative solutions that address the needs of both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring technological advancements are effectively integrated into operational processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Oversight and Management: Oversee and manage all administrative services groups, including Credit and Collections, Claims, Carrier Compliance, Customer Service, and Billing, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
Align administrative services with the company's strategic objectives, reinforcing financial strength and operational excellence.

Collaboration and Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with the CFO to develop and implement comprehensive corporate and operational strategies.
Drive strategic initiatives across the administrative services group, ensuring effective facilitation and execution.

Leadership and Vision: Provide exceptional leadership and management, establishing robust operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems.
Deliver outstanding customer service to the company's profit centers, customers, and carriers.

Efficiency and Technology Integration: Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the administrative services group.
Integrate technological advancements into operational processes, ensuring they are effectively utilized.

Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and oversee metrics reporting, dashboards, and accountability measures to ensure the group meets and improves key metrics and processes.
Monitor and report on the status of all objectives within the span of control, including any problems, concerns, strategies, and solutions.

Process Improvement: Develop processes and efficiencies to move the Administrative Services group to an exception-based functionality, including process enhancement and reporting capabilities to spotlight areas for improvement.

People Management and Development: Foster an environment of continuous learning and development within the administrative services teams to create a robust pipeline of talent capable of growth. Ensure team members are equipped to advance within their current roles and to seize other opportunities within the administrative services function.

Market and Industry Awareness: Stay knowledgeable of market and industry trends related to the administrative services group.
Represent the company at community and industry activities as required.
Meet and network regularly with business leaders in the industry and community.

Participate in special projects and handle all other assigned duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated ability to forge and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust at all organizational levels.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience leading and managing high-performing cross-functional teams within a complex organizational structure.
Five years of experience in the transportation sector, required.
Proven ability to analyze and redesign processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Strong aptitude for identifying trends, evaluating complex data sets, and implementing innovative solutions to mitigate risk and resolve challenges effectively.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation capabilities, with a track record of engaging and influencing a variety of executive-level audiences.
Ability to cultivate and sustain strong relationships with a wide array of stakeholders, including team members, senior leadership, and external partners.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time to engage with stakeholders and support business initiatives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a physical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands, arms, and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds.
