Full Time

The Admissions Manager provides technical supervision and operational leadership to the department. Uses the established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all Admissions support staff. The Manager also assumes Admissions Clerk responsibilities. Champions and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality employment experience.

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred. Some post-secondary education in Medical Billing and Coding is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Admission Standards as they relate to regulating and accrediting bodies is required. Basic knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPC and medical terminology is required. Working knowledge of claims submission processes for all major insurance carriers, intermediaries, Medicare and Medicaid strongly preferred. Position requires efficient data entry skills, balancing figures, compilation of statistics and understanding of reconciliation processes. Excellent customer relations and oral/written communication skills are required. Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
