Responsibilities:
Provide care and education for children ages 0-5, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.
Collaborate with the Center Supervisor and Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
Assume the responsibilities of a Teacher in their absence, guiding and supporting instructional assistants, parents, and volunteers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children.
Assist in planning and executing educational activities that promote child development.
Participate in physical activities with children, including games, music, and outdoor play.
Assist with bus supervision, ensuring the safety and engagement of children during

Associate Teacher:
Has semester units ECE/CD, with a grade C or better, or CDA Credential or CTC.
Has 6 months related experience with children ages 0-5 years of age.
Has an Child Development Associate Teacher permit or higher at time of hire.
HS/EHS/MSHS/State-Braided Associate Teachers must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have a child development associate (CDA) credential or the California equivalent of an Child Development Associate Teacher Permit at time of hire(12 ECE semester units including core courses; and for EHS and infant/toddler classrooms must also have 6 infant/toddler semester units) OR
- Be enrolled in a CDA credential program that will be completed within 2 years; OR
- Have an associate or bachelor's degree (in any area) or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree.
