Job Summary
Statisticians provide support on various projects, including but not limited wage & hour damages analysis. With 0-2 year's experience, performs work under general supervision of attorneys. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Essential Functions
- Gather information from various sources and executes basic analysis
- Statistical estimation and testing for adverse impact
- Linear and logistic regression modeling
- Hypothesis testing, or similar analytic methodologies.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- MS Excel
- Written and verbal contact with client HR and legal professionals at Fortune 500 companies.
- Ability to write programs/macros to automate repetitive statistical and data tasks required.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills required.
- Proficiency with R, SPS, SPSS and other statistical software strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, from start to finish, with shifting priority levels.
- Must demonstrates basic understanding of statistical test options and able to apply these methodologies to assigned projects.

Educational Requirements
- Master's level (or above) degree in applied statistics, mathematics, economics or similar fiend or commensurate experience.
For New York City area, the expected salary range for this position is between $35.00 hourly and $45.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
