THIS POSITIONAs an Assistant Engineer, you will support the success of our utility client and ensure that projects are completed to standard. You will be responsible for the coordination of materials, field installations and design for Transmission and HP Steel projects. You should also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare project schedules and track progress/milestones. Track and coordinate materials and allocations. Collaborate with vendors and obtain specifications. Support field coordination meetings. Coordinate action items with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain warehouse procedures and material release processes. Assist with project fabrication/installation. Provide project design and redlines for final approval. Assist with final as-built and revisions. Assist with pre-MAOP reviews. Work with a high degree of problem solving and critical thinking with little supervision.
