We are seeking committed and passionate Expanded Learning Program Instructors to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our East Bay Expanded Learning Programs. As a Program Instructor, you will lead and mentor up to 20 youth in an afterschool setting. Benefits:
Pay rate: $21 per hour
Hours: 22 hours per week
Paid BACR holidays
Schedule: Monday through Friday, afternoons until 6 p.m.
Off holidays, summers, and weekends
Stepping stone into a career in education, to a credentialed teacher

Minimum Requirements:
No experience required
Available Monday through Friday 20 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
Ability to reliably commute to Richmond
Commitment to social justice and leadership
Passionate about learning and youth development: K-12
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2 pm-6 pm / Wednesdays 1 pm-6 pm
Preferred:
Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain a safe and emotionally supportive environment
Create, plan, & execute lesson plans that support school day learning
Collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven curriculum)
