Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Laurel, MD
OPS Consulting is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Senior-level experience is required with manufacturing of mechanical systems that are interfaced with electronics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline
Required Skills:
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- Vacuum systems
- Cryogenics
- Electronics packaging and interconnects
- Custom electronics assemblies
Desired Skills:
- Experience in these areas should span the early-stage market analysis/concept generation phase through at least small-scale production and quality control.
- Additionally, experience with managing supply chain concerns and/or managing government regulations (including export control, IP protection, etc.) is highly desired.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
