Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical) (MNAe-Montgomery, AL)
The Electrical Technician will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventative maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modifications, as well as perform basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTo perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Performs responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas.Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works.Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements.Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents; daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents.Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tool, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assignedOther equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.All other duties assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEAssociate Degree in Maintenance or other Technical related field and 3 more years of industrial maintenance experience.High School Diploma or GED with 5 to 7 years of industrial maintenance experience.Mechanical and Electrical knowledge with PLC experienceREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESThorough understanding of manufacturing production and processing machineryAbility to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve company goals and target KPIs.Excellent computer skills and use of MS OfficeWorking knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.Working knowledge of Robotics and other related automated machinery and equipmentWorking knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD related software programsPREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE3-7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred, but not required.VFD, HMI and PLC experience preferred.Ability to draw concept layout and to write specification of equipment for purchasing facilities, jigs, workstation, line side rack and etc.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelExcellent people skills to include collaboration in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational successCertificates, Licenses, and RegistrationsNone RequiredWorking Conditions:50% in office, 50% on production floor or 70% in office, 30% on production floorTraversing production floorUse of protective equipment, devices, and clothingAscending/Descending laddersLifting 40-50 lbsPossible international travel to HeadquartersDomestic travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites as needed.Overtime and weekend work as needed.Supervisory Responsibilities: No
