The Chemical Sales Representative is responsible for the overall achievement of Chemical Sales in the car wash industry by maintaining the existing customer base as well as expanding with new accounts.
Requirements
- Serve as primary contact, sought after expert and customer advocate both internal and external for assigned and new accounts
- Establishes, maintains, and manages relationships
- Ensure timely customer onboarding and submit final contract to accounting
- Be an expert in the car wash chemical industry
- Resolve issues and billing questions with Mark VII Chemical and customer support department
- Create and maintain a knowledge base of relevant information on chemical products, the market, and the competition for sharing with accounts
Education and/or Experience
- Experience cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales.
- Understanding of the chemical industry, including key players, market trend and regulatory environments
- Familiarity with the applications and benefits of various chemical products
- Strong knowledge of business plans, budgeting and developing strategies for market penetration.
- Established relationships in the convenience store and retail petroleum marketplace.
- Understanding of financial reports, including contribution margins, profit and loss statements, budgeting and return on investment calculations.
Communication/Language Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
