Job Summary
EDCOE Special Services is seeking a collaborative Teacher for Students with Vision Impairments (TVI) to join our low incidence itinerant teaching team. This position provides direct and indirect services to children and students ages 0-22 with specialized vision services. This teacher works with school-based teams, as well as county regional programs to address the educational, communication, functional, and social/emotional needs of students with visual impairments.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience Required:
- One year experience in related teaching assignment; work with students with visual impairments preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid CA Special Education Credential with Visual Impairment authorization

Comments and Other Information
EDCOE will offer the following credential reimbursement as follows:
- EDCOE shall offer a total of $10,000 as a signing bonus payable in two separate, one-time, $5,000 installments at the conclusion of the employee's first two years of successful employment with EDCOE to a newly hired teacher qualified to teach students with visual impairment who has their VI credential upon hire.
